There Is a Light Somewhere is a studio program by Pacific Eurythmy exploring the ever-present dance between light and shadow. As we move with this theme, we begin to recognize the light that lives all around us—deep within ourselves and far out in the universe.
What about the darkness? If not for the darkness casting its long shadow across the earth, would we even be able to perceive the light?
Sometimes it takes only a delicate shift in focus. At times the light may seem faint, distant or entirely hidden, yet it is always there. We are continually seeking this light—allowing ourselves to be transformed by it and returning its gifts to the world, so that we can all move forward together.
As a studio program made up of multiple pieces exploring a shared theme, we have invited fellow artists to join us in the creative journey. There will, of course, be plenty of eurythmy, alongside music, poetry, dance, and a few unexpected surprises on stage.
